Visited Alamo Drafthouse on a Tuesday night and the tickets were just under $11 - a steal compared to what they would have costed on any other night. What makes Alamo Drafthouse unique is that they have food service during the movie so if you're ever catching a film during dinner time, fear not - they've got you covered. The menu is quite extensive, with tons of drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) options, as well as a variety of food options. The staff were thorough in explaining how to navigate the ordering system and they brought out the food pretty quickly. We ordered the loaded fries, popcorn, caesar salad, and buffalo wings, all of which were mediocre but it did the job. As for the theater itself, the seats were clean, comfortable, and reclined nicely. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would come back!

My best friend frequents this place and thought I'd give it a try. Came here to see inside out 2. The place is very different. The bar has a museum in it... it's kinda creepy but also cool. The bartenders were dope and the drinks were strong. I loved the food!!!!! Overall it's a cool movie theater. I can't wait to return for the food honestly.

I like it here. While its definately not your big box chain cinema experience, its really the reason I like it. First, the popcorn is the best popcorn - I dont know the magical ratio they determine but it works and makes me happy. The chairs are comfortable and the quality of film and sound work. I think the crowd just might be different, not a ton of kids and families, the environment doesn't seem to lend to it based on the films I have gone to see there. The service (they deliver) was great, got my food, my drinks, and everyone was happy. I'd def recommend and go back. You can also do pre- or post- foodie experiences in the food court - while not as expansive as Timeout Market, its still a good bunch of options.

Came here on a Saturday night. I purchased the movie tickets online, giving that it was a new movie. Movie tickets were $18.99 with a convenience fee of $1.89 per ticket. Came to see in 2D GODZILLA X KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE. This movie theatre is located in downtown Brooklyn at Albee Square Plaza. Theater is located on the 4th floor. There are spacious elevators and escalators for you to go up. They allow customers 30 minutes prior to show time to go inside the theater. Early birds enjoy a curated show before the show and a chance to order some cold drinks and unlimited popcorn before the movie starts. At 4 p.m., the House of Wax opens. There you can have cocktails, beers etc... Perfect for date night. Theater is spacious. Love the seating. For every two people, you share a table. I wish the seats all reclined. I believe only the front row seats recline. However, seats are spacious and comfortable. I wish all movie theater had a table where you can put your food on. I loved that the table was spacious, definitely a bonus when you take kids to the theater. Makes life easier and less of a mess. On each table, you have a menu and paper cards with a pen. You can fill out your order. Once you fill it out, you push it down, and you press a light button. This will alert a server to come take your order. Staff is friendly and helpful. We were in theater 7, and this theater held about 200 guests. I was impressed with how quickly our server came to take the order and how quick the food was coming out. Do not expect everything you order to come out together. Some foods take longer to come out. All seats seemed to have a good view. The bathroom has multiple stalls, so there is no big line. The movie theater is kept cleaned. The menu has a variety of foods to choose from they also have a kids' menu. You can order cocktails and beers. We ordered a cheese pizza, chicken tenders, queso with chips, milkshake, margarita cocktail, mozarella sticks, and a Caesar salad Everything tasted good. Definitely would recommend trying out this theater if you are in downtown Brooklyn.

Alamo used to be my special fancy theater that I went to when I wanted to splurge on some cocktails while laughing my butt off or crying my eyes out. Then UA Court Street closed ... (brb sobbing) ... and somehow my fancy splurge spot became the only theater in Brooklyn that I would agree to go to lol. Where else can you get those delicious little buffalo cauliflower bites and a themed margarita while you devastatingly watch Thanos snap away half of the planet? Nowhere else I tell you! I have started to love Alamo Downtown Brooklyn so much that I signed up for their Victory rewards program, follow them on Instagram, and even hosted a birthday party showing there. Every now and then I'll trek out to Manhattan to get some Regal reward points (or meet a non-Brooklyn resident lol) but I would watch movies at Alamo every week if I could. I hope they continue to host special screenings and offering themed menus because I love it dearly and am grateful that Alamo raised the bar for my movie going experience. If I can't enjoy a beverage and or real food (not just m&m's) while the trailers are playing, count me out lol.

Anytime I come here, I feel like a blanket wraps around my heart as I get to do two of my favorite things in the world: eat and movie-watching. I usually like to come here for the specialized movie parties where they'll show an old or current movie with props, activities, and contests. I recently attended the Hunger Games prequel movie party and it was so much fun. I even won their costume contest and got two free movie tickets. The props were cool and related to the movie, such as the Capitol pin and the white rose. There are some movie parties where you can sing along and it becomes one massive karaoke event, such as at the Little Mermaid Party. I've even gone to a Mummy movie party where audience mummy wrapped each other with toilet paper for a contest. The menu has great options and is usually specialized depending on the movie opening that week or the one you are seeing at the movie party. Right now they have specialized cocktails and desserts that are holiday theme so everything looks like a potential party in your stomach. My favorite till this day is the brunch menu that I had the privilege to order from when I attended the Marvels brunch screening with my daughter. I don't remember when my love affair with Alamo started but it feels like I've been going to this theater for a good part of my adulthood and I've always had splendid service! They make you feel right at home here and even have some quick conversations about the clips they show before the movie starts. I think the majority of the staff are movie nerds like me, which makes Alamo feel more like home-star to me. I can't remember ever having a bad time at Alamo. It's a community of people who grew up watching the same classics as you and hold them dear to their hearts and have created a safe haven where people get to immerse into their favorite movies. Definitely come here if you are a movie-lover!

Good theater. Decent food. The last time I was there, one of the elevators was broken. The lobby bar doesn't open until the afternoon. Service was good but I was there for a special screening and we had to wait forever to get our credit cards back after paying. I guess they were short staffed that Saturday early afternoon.
